A.W. Chang Announces Partnership with Jhane Barnes
New York, NY, January 7, 2010

A.W. Chang, Corp, led by Bill Chang and his brother, Abe Chang, is pleased to announce a new partnership with acclaimed designer Jhane Barnes. Their new endeavor will operate as "Jhane Barnes Collection," and will work in coordination with Excalibur, another division of A.W. Chang, Corp, to manufacture and market collection sportswear, neckwear, dress shirts, hosiery, and a slew of new products.

The partnership couples Barnes's innovation with Excalibur's production resources, business savvy, retail relationships, and manufacturing expertise. Excalibur is the world's only vertically integrated neckwear resource, and owns and operates a hand screen printing shop, a sewing factory, and a weaving mill. Barnes is renowned for her complex, highly detailed, woven and printed fabrics. The combination of Barnes's design ingenuity and Excalibur's production and manufacturing precision, expertise, and resources, is incredibly powerful. "It is nearly unheard of for an American designer to have unlimited access to production facilities like Excalibur's. I am thrilled by the creative possibilities ahead. I can't wait for everyone to see our Fall 2010 collection, and everything we've accomplished." states Jhane Barnes.

The completely vertical manufacturing capabilities of Excalibur will enable Jhane Barnes Collection to cater to the needs of specialty retailers and department stores, and execute faster and more efficient deliveries. Jhane Barnes Collection will continue to provide the clothing men love to loyal customers, while reaching a whole new consumer base, and introducing a myriad of new products.

"This partnership will expand upon the established relationships with our retail clients. Our high level of experience in all key areas, from product development to point of sale, helps drive top-end revenue that will benefit Jhane Barnes Collection," states Warren Katz, president of Excalibur. "We are excited about the offerings for our retailers."

The Collection is currently offered in Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue, Von Maur and specialty retailers throughout the country. See the Jhane Barnes Collection at:
