As an architect and founder of Envision, a multi- disciplinary design firm dedicated to the idea that good design must include the integration of environmental responsibility, Ken is all too aware of the impact that human's decisions have on the environment.

Ken has received much industry recognition for his environmental responsibility and is active in the US Green Building Council as well as being involved with the International Interior Design Association (IIDA) as the Sustainability Forum Advisor and the founder of its Sustainability Advisory Council.

In addition to the award,I'm thrilled to recognize Ken's achievements with a $2,500 donation to Greenpeace Fund (Ken's charity of choice) - oh, and some clothes, including "Screendoor" (the shirt he is wearing in this picture!).
