Daniel Rodriguez, The New York City Police Officer turned super star (due to the magical effect of his remarkable tenor voice) spent an afternoon shopping in the Jhane Barnes Showroom in Manhattan.

Jhane was there to assist Daniel in choosing outfits for the cover of his new CD, due out on Valentines's Day, 2003. The CD will be a medley of original love songs and promises to top the charts.

Daniel also gave Jhane her own serenade during his visit.

"I am really impressed with Daniel's charm and his sense of humor," said Jhane Barnes, "and his voice is so amazing. It's like the music just flows out of him. I was instantly transported.

"I think so many of us feel a need to cultivate peace and goodness in the world right now. Doing a small thing like helping Daniel look good while he makes beautiful music helps me feel just a little bit better."

The seven year veteran of the New York City Police Department captured the imagination and the heart of the public when he performed his rendition of the National Anthem just after 9/11.
